About the Audio Trimmer

The Audio Trimmer cuts an audio file down to a single section between the start and end times you set — perfect for making a ringtone, grabbing a quote from a podcast, or dropping silence from the ends of a recording. It runs on a WebAssembly build of ffmpeg entirely in your browser, so your file is never uploaded — private, free, no watermark.

Play the file with the built-in player to find the moments you want, then type the start and end as minutes and seconds (for example 0:15 to 1:30). The kept section is exported as an MP3. Because everything runs on your device, short clips process quickly. The engine loads once and is cached for next time.
