About the WhatsApp QR Code Generator
This is an ordinary URL QR code pointing at WhatsApp’s standard click-to-chat link: https://wa.me/<number>, with your optional message appended as a URL-encoded ?text= parameter. Scanning it opens a chat with your number, pre-filled and ready to send — no saving your contact first, no typing digits. Shops, market stalls, support desks and freelancers put these on signage, receipts and business cards because it turns a phone number into a single tap.
Enter the number in full international format, digits only — for example 923001234567, with no plus sign, spaces or dashes. This tool strips anything that is not a digit, but getting the country code right is on you: a number without it will not open the right chat, and the number must be registered on WhatsApp.
The honest caveat: this code depends entirely on WhatsApp continuing to support the wa.me link format. It is stable and widely used, but it is Meta’s scheme, not a standard anyone else controls — if it changed, printed codes would need reprinting. It encodes the link directly, so it never expires on our side and never contacts our servers. It does, however, rely on WhatsApp continuing to support wa.me links — that is a dependency on Meta, not on us.
