About the YouTube Title Extractor
This tool fetches a YouTube video's title, channel name and thumbnail from a link, using YouTube's own official oEmbed endpoint — so the details are exactly as YouTube reports them, not scraped or guessed. Paste a watch URL, a youtu.be link, a Shorts link or a bare video ID, and it returns the title ready to copy, the channel it belongs to, and the thumbnail image with its URL.
It saves the fiddly job of opening the video, selecting the title and cleaning up the copy — handy when you are writing show notes, building a playlist description, citing a video, or collecting titles for research. The thumbnail URL is useful for previews and mock-ups, and copying the exact title avoids the typos that creep in when you retype it by hand.
Because it uses the public oEmbed data, it only works for videos that are public and embeddable; private, unlisted or age-restricted videos will not return details.
