About the PDF to Word
PDF to Word opens your PDF in the browser, reads the text of every page and writes it into a real .docx file you can open and edit in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. Because it runs entirely on your device, the PDF is never uploaded — which makes it safe for contracts, statements and anything private.
It is built for the most common need: getting the words out of a PDF so you can edit them, rather than reproducing the original design pixel-for-pixel. Selectable text comes through cleanly, page by page, with page breaks kept between pages. What it does not do — and no honest in-browser tool can — is rebuild complex multi-column layouts, tables, images or exact fonts; a scanned PDF has no selectable text at all, so it would come through empty. To place text or edits directly on a PDF instead, use the PDF editor, and to go the other way use Word to PDF.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. It is read and converted entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for private documents.
Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
No. It extracts the text into an editable Word document. Complex layouts, tables, images and exact fonts are not reproduced — the goal is editable text, not a pixel-perfect copy.
Does it work on a scanned PDF?
No. A scan is an image with no selectable text, so there is nothing to extract. You would need OCR first to turn the image into text.
What file do I get?
A standard .docx file that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages.
Is there a page or size limit?
It works on multi-page PDFs, limited mainly by your device memory since everything runs locally. Very large files may take a moment.
