About the Organize PDF
Organize PDF rebuilds a document with its pages in whatever order you type. Write 3, 1, 2 and page three comes first. Write a range and the whole block moves at once, and a range typed backwards — 9-5 — reverses just that block, which is the quickest way to fix a stack of pages that came out of a scanner the wrong way round.
Anything you leave out is left out of the result, so this deletes as well as reorders: typing 2-8 on a ten-page file both drops the covers and keeps the order. A page number can appear twice if you want it twice, which is occasionally what a printed booklet needs. If you only want to remove pages and keep everything else where it is, remove pages is the shorter route, and extract pages pulls a range out into a file of its own.
Two honest limitations, both of them the same one every rebuild-based PDF tool has. Pages are re-imported to build the new file, so only visible content survives: bookmarks, form fields, annotations and internal links are dropped, and a fillable form comes out flat. Encrypted PDFs cannot be read at all — run them through unlock PDF first. Your file is uploaded, processed under a random name in a folder blocked from web access, and deleted when the request ends. One file, 20 MB maximum.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write the page order?
As a list of numbers and ranges separated by commas, in the order you want them: 3, 1, 2 puts page three first. A range like 5-7 moves those three pages together, and 7-5 moves them in reverse.
What happens to pages I do not list?
They are dropped. The result contains exactly the pages you typed, in the order you typed them — so this reorders and deletes in one step.
Can I repeat a page?
Yes. List the same number more than once and it appears more than once, which is sometimes what a booklet or a hand-out needs.
Is there a drag-and-drop page view?
Not here — you type the order instead. It sounds less friendly and is usually faster, especially on a phone, where dragging thumbnails around a long document is fiddly.
Do form fields and links survive?
No. The rebuilt file keeps page content only — annotations, form fields and bookmarks are lost, so a fillable form comes out flat.
Are my files stored?
No. Your PDF is uploaded, rearranged on the server, and every temporary file is deleted at the end of the request.
