About the JPG to PDF
This tool draws each image onto its own A4 portrait page (210 × 297 mm), scaled to fit inside the margins and centred, then saves the pages as one PDF. Images become pages in the order you selected them. JPG and PNG are accepted, and PNG transparency is carried into the PDF as a soft mask rather than being flattened onto white.
It is the quick way to turn phone photos of a document, screenshots or scans into a single emailable attachment. If your photos are iPhone HEIC files, run them through HEIC to JPG first — HEIC is rejected by the upload check here. Already have PDFs to join instead? Use merge PDF.
The honest limitation: every page is A4 portrait, always. A landscape photo is scaled to fit the width and ends up with white bands above and below rather than the page rotating to suit it, and there is no cropping, deskewing or auto-rotation. There is also no OCR on this server, so the text in your photos stays a picture — the PDF will have no searchable text layer. Files are uploaded, processed under random names in a non-public folder, and deleted when the request ends; 20 MB per image, 25 MB total, up to 30 images.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I upload?
JPG/JPEG and PNG only, up to 30 per PDF. HEIC, WebP, GIF and TIFF are rejected — convert them to JPG or PNG first.
Can I search or copy the text afterwards?
No. Each page is a picture of your text, not text. There is no OCR on this server, so the resulting PDF has no searchable text layer at all.
Why is there white space around my photo?
Pages are always A4 portrait and images are scaled to fit while keeping their proportions. A wide landscape photo therefore leaves blank bands top and bottom.
Does PNG transparency survive?
Yes — transparent areas are carried into the PDF as a soft mask rather than filled with white. Most viewers show the page background as white regardless.
Are my photos kept?
No. They are uploaded, renamed randomly into a folder that is not web-accessible, turned into the PDF, and every temporary file is deleted at the end of the request.
