About the Remove Pages
Remove Pages rebuilds your PDF without the pages you list. Type single pages and ranges separated by commas — 1, 4-6, 9 drops five pages — and everything else is copied across in its original order. Page numbers refer to positions in the file counting from 1, and numbers beyond the end of the document are ignored rather than causing an error.
It is the tool for a blank scanner page, a cover sheet you do not need, or a section that should not reach the recipient. If you are keeping fewer pages than you are dropping, say the reverse instead: extract pages takes a list of pages to keep, which is often much less typing. To break a file into several separate pieces at once, split PDF is the right shape.
Honest limitations. At least one page must survive — asking to remove them all is rejected, since there would be no document left to download. The file is rebuilt by re-importing the pages you keep, so their visible content is preserved exactly, but bookmarks, form fields, annotations and internal links are dropped, and any bookmark pointing at a removed page would have broken anyway. Encrypted PDFs cannot be read at all. Your file is uploaded, processed under a random name in a folder blocked from web access, and deleted when the request ends. One file, 20 MB maximum.
Frequently asked questions
How do I specify the pages?
Commas between entries and a hyphen for a range: 2, 5-7 removes pages 2, 5, 6 and 7. Spaces are ignored and duplicate entries are harmless.
Are the removed pages really gone?
Yes. The new file is built from the kept pages only — removed content is not hidden or covered over, it is genuinely absent from the output.
Can I remove every page?
No. At least one page must remain, otherwise there would be no document to download, and the request is rejected.
Do the remaining pages change?
Their content is preserved as it was, in the same order. Interactive elements do not survive the rebuild — form fields, annotations and bookmarks are dropped.
What if I type a page number that does not exist?
It is ignored. Only numbers within the document’s actual page count are acted on.
