About the Text to PDF

The simplest way to get a PDF out of plain text. Paste any text — notes, an email, logs, a code snippet, a list — and this tool wraps it in a clean, readable PDF that faithfully preserves your line breaks, blank lines and spacing. No formatting to fuss over, no software to install.

It is handy whenever someone needs a PDF rather than a loose .txt: attaching notes to a form, archiving output, or printing something in a fixed layout. The text is rendered with mPDF on our server and the file is deleted the instant the conversion finishes — nothing is stored and there is no watermark.

If your text is actually Markdown or HTML, you will get a nicer result from Markdown to PDF or HTML to PDF, which interpret the formatting. Need an editable Word file instead of a PDF? Use text to Word.

Frequently asked questions

Are my line breaks and spacing kept?

Yes. The text is rendered with its whitespace preserved, so blank lines and indentation carry over into the PDF.

Does it interpret Markdown or HTML?

No. Text is placed literally, so # and <b> appear as characters. For formatted output use the Markdown to PDF or HTML to PDF tools.

Is it really free?

Yes — unlimited conversions, no account, and no watermark on the PDF.
