Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Utilorax — both the free tools and the paid Developer API. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who operates this service

Utilorax is owned and operated by Hammad Shams Uddin, a sole proprietor based in Karachi, Pakistan. You can contact the operator at [email protected]. Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle.com acting as our Merchant of Record.

The service

Utilorax provides online calculators, converters and utilities that are free to use, and a paid Developer API for programmatic access. We may add, change or remove features over time to keep the service useful and secure.

Accounts and API keys

You need a free account to obtain an API key. Each account holds one key. Keep your key secret — you are responsible for all usage made with it. If you believe your key has been exposed, revoke and regenerate it from your dashboard.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload or probe our systems, no bypassing rate limits or plan allowances, and no reselling the raw API as your own competing product. We may suspend access that threatens the stability or security of the service or other users.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically each month on your own billing date until you cancel, and your monthly request allowance resets at the start of each billing period. You can cancel auto-renew at any time from your dashboard; you keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices and plan limits are set by us and may change; we will give reasonable notice of any increase that affects you.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Availability and “as is”

We work to keep the service fast and reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and results should be verified before you rely on them for important decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Utilorax is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page rather than quietly editing the text.
