About the Invoice Generator

Create a clean, printable invoice without any software. Fill in your business details and your client's, an invoice number, the dates and the currency symbol you use, then add line items, each with a description, a quantity and a unit price. The tool multiplies quantity by price for every line, adds the lines into a subtotal, and shows it all in a tidy invoice preview that updates live as you type.

From the subtotal it subtracts a discount amount if you enter one, then adds a tax percentage, and shows the grand total. The tax is a single flat percentage applied to the whole invoice. When the invoice looks right, the Print / Save as PDF button opens your browser's own print dialog, where you choose Save as PDF to keep a file or send it straight to a printer.

The important part is where this happens: entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded and nothing is stored on a server, which makes it safe for real client and pricing details. The trade-off is that nothing is saved either, so reload the page and the invoice clears; save the PDF to keep a copy. It produces a document to send: it does not email the client for you or track whether an invoice has been paid.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a PDF of my invoice?

Click Print / Save as PDF. That opens your browser print dialog, where you select Save as PDF as the destination to download a file, or pick your printer to print it on paper. The PDF is produced by the browser itself, not by a server.

Is my invoice data uploaded or stored anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your business details, client details and figures are never sent to a server or saved online. That makes it safe to use for real pricing and contact information.

Will my invoice be saved for next time?

No. Because nothing is stored, reloading or closing the page clears the invoice completely. Always use Save as PDF to keep a copy of each invoice before you leave the page; there is no saved history to return to.

How are the discount and tax applied?

The line items are added into a subtotal, the discount amount you enter is subtracted from it, and then the tax percentage is added to that figure to give the grand total. The tax is a single flat percentage applied to the whole invoice.

Can it email the invoice or track payments?

No. It creates a printable invoice for you to send however you like. It does not send email on your behalf, and it does not record whether an invoice has been paid, so you would manage sending and payment tracking separately.
