About the Crypto Price Converter

This converter turns a cryptocurrency amount into real money at the current market price, or works backwards to show how much of a coin a sum of money buys. Pick from major coins — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB and more — set an amount, and choose any of 25 currencies. The price comes from a live feed (CoinGecko), fetched every few minutes and cached so the page loads instantly and never trips a rate limit; the result shows how recently it was updated.

The price is quoted in US Dollars and converted to your currency with a live exchange rate, which is why the same 1 BTC reads differently in Dollars, Indian Rupees or Pakistani Rupees. The two-way toggle answers both of the questions people actually ask: "what is my 0.05 BTC worth?" and "how much Ethereum does 50,000 rupees buy?" Small coin amounts are shown to extra decimal places, because a little money buys a very small fraction of a coin.

One honest caveat matters more here than anywhere else on the site: this is a reference price, not a trading price. Crypto is highly volatile — the number can move meaningfully within minutes — and an exchange never gives you the raw market rate. You pay a spread, plus trading and withdrawal fees, so what you actually receive is a little less than this shows. It is a quick, fair gauge of value, not investment advice and not a quote. To convert between ordinary currencies, the spot rate here is the same one behind the gold & silver calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Is the crypto price live?

Yes. Prices come from a live market feed (CoinGecko), refreshed every few minutes and cached briefly so the page stays fast. The result shows how long ago the price was updated.

Can it convert a currency amount into coins?

Yes. Switch "Convert" to "Currency → crypto", enter a money amount, and it shows how much of the coin that buys at the current price — useful for planning a purchase.

Why does an exchange quote a slightly different price?

This is the aggregate market reference price. Exchanges add a spread and charge trading and withdrawal fees, and prices differ slightly between platforms, so the amount you actually pay or receive will not match this exactly.

Which coins and currencies are supported?

Twelve of the largest coins — including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Dogecoin and Cardano — and 25 currencies, from the US Dollar to the Indian and Pakistani Rupee and the Gulf currencies.

Should I rely on this for trading?

No. It is a reference value, not trading or investment advice. Crypto prices are highly volatile and can change within minutes, so always check the live price on the platform you are actually using before you buy or sell.
